What We Do
We are educating physicians and patients at Mercy Hospital in Calcutta, India about hand hygiene. Studies have shown that this region has high rates of infection and this could help reduce them.

How to Help
We're in the beginning stages of the project and need donations! All funding goes directly into the project to buy campaign materials and hire consultants like lawyers and accountants.
The Big Picture
This year the World Health Organization made it their mission to address global hand hygiene. Healthy Hands is working to apply their standards to the real-world.

Mercy Hospital has periphery clinics for children in the rural outskirts of Calcutta. We will conduct a brief education program for children attending the clinics. The program will teach children proper hand hygiene techniques. We will conduct survey research to measure efficacy of program. We hope the children will take these lessons home with them.
STOP THE DISEASE.
